Webkinz is a stuffed animal and video game founded by Ganz. You can purchase a real stuffed animal in stores. These stuffed animals each come with a code that is then used to register the animal for the online game. In the online game, you can have multiple animals, design rooms and houses for them, buy food to feed them, get a job, and play many differnt games within Webkinz.
Webkinz was orginally released on April 15, 2005. Just one year later, Webkinz reached one million players. As the player number eventally decreased, Webkinz realsed different versions of the game including Webkinz X and Webkinz Next.
